:bulletred: Drawing III assignment! :bulletred:
Had to 'steal' an element from another piece that we copied at school. The only thing I could take was black and white values with no shading. -.- That's all the piece was. And so here is mine!

:iconxenagurl750:
It's almost 5 feet tall, that's Amanda back there.

Done with black, light blue, dark blue, and gray Faber-Castell PITT artist pens on blue toned paper. Reference was a photo of mine.

This one makes me smile. I'm glad you got the lovely Amanda out of hiding for some other shots. :D

Given the other looniness you have photographed her in, pajamas are hardly a big deal. :D

Ah, that frame would be so expensive. :faint: I went into this thinking it wouldn't take me very long. Boy... I was so wrong...
Thank you very much for the comment!

I wasn't planning on it. I merely did it for class. I'm not sure how I would anyways, because it is so large and to get a custom frame is very expensive. :faint:

Here's how to make a low cost and decent looking frame that is super simple to put together.
All you would need is some 1"x3" wood, doesn't have to be very expensive, mitre box & saw, staple gun and wood glue, foam core and primer, black lacquer paint.
Measure the wood, mitre the edges, sand with a 220 sandpaper, glue and staple corners, prime and then paint black lacquer. If you wish use a low lustre flat black. Mount it on foam core for stability.

Additionally, your local lumber supply store like Lowe's or Rona will carry some decorative chair rail boards, decorative corners and so on. These are wood planks that are carved and can be cut to any size. You can cut them and apply to the face of the frame for more detail. My favourite is a the rope one.

Beautiful thing is, once you have the tools and paint the wood is cheap.

Very fantastic work, lady.

The added depth of that second blue alyer of branches works a treat and the birds amongst the branches, as well as up in the sky, bring a great element of movement and life.

What are you going to do with it now?
